Molton Brown Mirror Lake, London via Sichuan

We where lucky enough to get to work again with the team from Molton Brown on their Sichuan inspired Blossoming Honey suckle & White Tea Campaign, recreating the famous mirror lake as a water set build in London. The process was really exciting first making a miniature model to test the reflections in the water and to see how the water dye worked, to building the whole set full size, layering the mountains and creating a lake shore line from plants to create perspective. The whole set was then magically brought to life by the Sandra Freij’s fantastic photography and lighting techniques with a smoke machine transforming the studio to a hot summers afternoon. Ive always wanted to do a water set… favourite project so far !
